The most average thing about him, for his age group, was probably his odour. Though, despite this, he likes to depict himself as the 'average teenager'.
That was until he gains knowledge about a strange thing called a 'Squip', The Squip was this tiny supercomputer that comes with the promise of popularity! The Squip says it'll bring him everything he's ever wanted and more! Even the things he, secretly, desires the most: being noticed by Pacifica Northwest, being able to attend the biggest party of the year without having a breakdown, and most of all... Having the chance to finally survive, and thrive, in school.

Dipper Pines grew up an only child in Gravity Falls, Oregon. Abandoned by parents that he didn’t know and that his Great Uncle refused to tell him about. Eventually he learned to stop asking and set his sights on the mysteries around him.
Mabel Pines grew up similarly alone in Piedmont, California. A place much less accepting of other’s eccentricities. Her whole life, she’d felt like only half of a person, that she was missing something big. Mabel vowed to fill the empty hole in her heart by any means necessary.
When it turned out that she was right, discovering Dipper’s existence while working on a school project, Mabel decided that there was only one solution! Running away to chase down the long-lost twin brother she didn’t know she had, and making it her ultimate goal to befriend him!
