Henry was snapped out of his thoughts when the timer on his phone went off. With a shaky breath, he pulled himself up and looked at himself in the mirror. He saw his bloodshot eyes were full of tears, his nose was red, and his normally perfect hair was disheveled. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and when he opened them, he found 2 tests with pink plus signs and 2 tests with the words “Pregnant” in capital letters staring back at him. Immediately after opening his eyes to the sight, he shut them tightly and let the tears flow out.
Or, Henry finds himself unexpectedly pregnant and it brings up trauma from his past.
