Or, alternatively, Acolyte Xanot has spontaneous, massive memory loss on her way to Korriban and thinks she was once a basic-ass Human from another world.

Overjoyed, Zarr readies himself for the trials that await him. He departs without saying goodbye, boarding a shuttle bound for Korriban, where hell either rise as a Sith legend or die like in failiure and anonymity like so many before him.

Being Sith really isn't all that difficult- unless they're doing it wrong somehow, which could very well be the case. They don't really understand the Code (or any of the philosophy for that matter). They don't feel the emotions they're supposed to. But does it matter? They do whatever their master tells them to, go wherever he sends them, fight a lot, kill a lot, and that's enough.
Or at least, it would have been enough. But fate- also known as the Force, according to a friend of theirs -had other ideas.

Alys is a light leaning sith who is trying to hide her true self while acting as the Empire's Wrath. Iris is the Hero of Tython who struggles with her unwilling descent into the Emperor's darkness. Usually, if a sith and jedi of their caliber confronted each other, it would end in a blood bath. However, due to certain circumstances, they compromise and work together against a common enemy. As they work, they see that they might not be so different after all.
While the game essentially hints that only one character is there during the timeline, this story shows all the characters in the same timeline. The story is about the Sith Warrior and the Jedi Knight falling in love, but we get to see a few cameos from the other playable characters as well.
