Garfield is tired. Another robin is dead, another friend is dead, another family member is gone. Tim Drake is dead and the team is split up. It's become a pattern. Garfield will join a team, have a good time for a couple of years, and then someone will die. It happened with the doom patrol and it's happened with the teen titans twice now. So it was safe to say he was miserable. Then in the depths of despair this cryptic little robin, with Tim's ego, Jason's temper, and Dick's feral nature bullied his way into Garfield's life. His first reaction was to tell the kid to piss off. Then next thought was that this was Tim's little brother. He was the little brother of three of his friends. So this automatically made Damian his little brother. No matter how grouchy the kid was.

Jon smelled of blood and remnants of magic, hot desert sand burned by fire and incense, scents that intoxicated Damian's senses and drove him mad; his uniform, usually immaculate and bright white, was stained red and torn in several places, with a yellowish halo as if Jon had been dragged for miles on sand and dirt.
Damian thought he had never felt safer than he did with a man who could break his neck with a snap of his fingers. But maybe that was what Damian loved most about Jon: the thrill, the adrenaline, living constantly next to danger and knowing that he might be the Demon Head, but that he was part mortal just like everyone else who walked the grounds of that ruined world.

Damian then wakes up, he doesn't know what to say at first he thinks his mother or grandfather has resurrected him but something is wrong... Damian wakes up in a room, but not just any room, it was one with pastel blue walls and a childish decor. Suddenly Damian realizes that his "bed" had bars of the same pastel colors. The only thing that goes through Damian's head is "what the fuck happened!" Damian tries to say fuck but all that comes out is "fu-" Damian panics when he realizes he can't speak. He looks at his hands and they are small and cute! And he looks at his legs and sees that they are like that too, so Damian decides to look in a mirror near where he was and then he sees that in fact now he is....... a BABY!!!!!!

this ended up being way more plot than I orignally intended. so it needed it's own place. you have no idea how much i tried to make this full comedy and it kept derailing back to plot i stopped fighting it. this is going to end up being one of the longer ones. i just wanted a fun story with ellie and danny whooping the cocaine fueled nut job out for revenge on their mom. with all the tropes that follow this could be amazing villian in every story he dares touch. we can't let him get to powerful.
this is the start of batman really working on fixing his relationship with selina their kids, the sirens, jason. he's making an effort, putting in visible work. not just talking out his ass like hey you should listen to me cause i'm batman. cause they can't help themselves lot's of flirty bruce and selina. this is a long slow process. there will be back sliding all the time. this man has the emotional range of a rock.
