Seventeen year old Katya Oprichnikova had worked for Hydra for as long as she could remember. It was repeatedly drilled into her head that killing people was all she was good at.
When The Avengers intercepted her on a mission and Natasha saw just how broken the young girl was, she wanted to help her. And maybe it was because she saw too much of herself in Katya, but Natasha wasn't going to give up her, no matter how much Katya fought against it.
Maybe there was damage that could be undone, or maybe there wasn't. But Katya deserved peace either way.

He is even less happy when the government offers him a job offer right after waking up and decides he is going to make himself a problem then and there. Bucky Barnes x OC/Reader fic. No appearance description but there is a name. Not canon compliant, no Infinity War and everyone lives so joyously in the compound together. Meant to be on the happier side. Also Bucky is around 30-33 in like. mental/physical age since he was 28 when he fell off the train.
Inspired HEAVILY in the very beginning by "Winter Mountain Soldier Spy" by Cosmos_coma. Go read that it's peak and much better than this.
As a warning, all characters will probably be pretty OOC in this as I am not entirely. as locked in to marvel as i should be.

When Peter doesn’t respond, Tony frowns and turns around to look at the teen. A look a little pale, that wasn’t uncommon thought. His hands were not moving, not fidgeting. “Earth to Parker?” Tony raises his voice slightly.
“Huh?” Peter straightens, looking at him. Tony can’t help but chuckle.
“The screwdriver.” Tony repeats, “Could you hand it to me?” he asks again, holding his hand out. This time, Peter reaches for it and hands it to Tony. The rubber shaft fits nicely into his hand. “Thank you. Are you staying for dinner today?”
Tony’s about to turn back to his work when Peter suddenly tips sideways on his chair. Like the strings of his body had been cut, just like that. Falling sideways, like a lifeless rag doll.

With a heavy heart, he crossed them off one by one. Amends made, he supposed.
But when he got to the last one, he hesitated. It was the very last name in the entire worn notebook, but that wasn’t what gave him pause. Bucky studied the hastily scrawled name like it could tell him the secrets of the universe.
With jerky strokes, he scribbled out the name, forgoing his neat method of crossing them out with a simple line. He just didn't want to look at it. Thinking of the boy's scared brown eyes wrenched his heart from his chest."
