What started as a one shot pitch from a fan of mine back during the pandemic happened to evolve and help break me out of a long creative depression back then and make a longer tale of comedy, romance, and a bit of the punishment ideas I am so often enamored with. Costume Party is by no means perfect looking back at it, but it still is a story I look back on fondly. This was also my first time trying to give the extended cast love and Misao, in the way I wrote her, would come to be a favorite of mine and stole the spotlight in nearly every scene she found her silly way into.

Though it was a simple story, this one meant a lot to me as one that helped me to snap more fully out of a long writing depression back when and make a piece based off the art that is within that was gifted to me by my close friend Tamae FTT. Hope you all enjoy as well.
The time has come for a break from typical high school life for the girls of Lucky Star: Konata, Kagami and her 'little' twin sister Tsukasa. Poor student habits follow you home though as some of them are about to learn and Miki Hiiragi has her ways of parenting young girls that need looking after.

As Konata lays back on her couch watching an OVA about four kids being shrunk to micro size and trying to survive in the backyard, she wonders what it would be like to be that small, but only briefly as she would rather wish that sort of fate onto someone else. As luck would have it, she made this wish while a wishing star shot overhead in the night sky. The next day, Kagami and Tsukasa show up at Konata's house after school, wondering if she overslept again or is not feeling well. But after knocking on the door, they suddenly become encased in glowing energy that causes them to shrink to mere millimeters tall. By the time Konata opens the door, she doesn't see anyone on the other side. Kagami and Tsukasa managed to run inside before Konata closed the door on them, watching their giant friend walk away in awe as they wonder how they're going to get her attention as unaware as she is of their presence…
