RWBY RE:colored is a re-imagination of the story of RWBY given as a pitch, mixed with scene-by-scene style of writing. It’s purpose is merely to adapt the series into a more cohesive and simple series for teenage and mature audiences. Certain aspects, characters and lore will be heavily altered, and its reading requires knowledge of at least the first five volumes of the original show. All side media, being books, movies, games or shorts will not be considered. I will be using other franchises as comparison to characters and ideas. Summary
Jaune Arc has lost almost everyone he cares about fighting a doomed war against Salem. One by one they gave their lives to protect the weak and defenceless. More than once it had been Jaune who was the weak and defenceless that they died for.
Given the opportunity to go back in time, Jaune is determined not to fail them again. He owes them a debt, one that he's determined repay, even if it kills him. They deserved that much.
Which is all well and good, until he realises that his friends haven't even been born yet. So what's a veteran Huntsman to do but try and use his skills and future knowledge to make sure they never have to fight in Ozma's war at all.
