Summary
As Nick Fury once said, "I acknowledge that the Council has made a decision. Given it's a stupid-ass decision, I've elected to ignore it." This is my thoughts exactly with the current Canon of RWBY. So I'm taking my story and dubbing it as "Canon" from here on out, and I'll finish this series with some damn good writing! I will do my best to post new chapters every Wednesday. They stumble down a rabbit hole far deeper than anyone could have ever predicted.

Winter Schnee has given up her status as Heiress, any claim to the Schnee Dust Company, graduated from Atlas Academy with high enough marks to join the Ace Ops, but instead chooses to go into Specialist Operatives. Between work, she helps to train her younger sister Weiss, tries to act as a supportive older sister to Whitley, and puts up with the antics of her outgoing, happy-go-lucky best friend Clover. At the recommendation of Ironwood, Winter accompanies Huntsman Qrow Branwen on his mission to find Fria. She and Qrow grow close, and soon everything starts to come out into the open. Told mainly from Winter's POV.
Mostly canon compliant, follows Winter before the Vytal Festival Tournament, through to the tournament and the Fall of Beacon. Winter's age is never confirmed in canon, so she's in her mid-twenties, on the way to being thirty. Includes romance between Winter and Qrow. Currently being rewritten, and two, potentially three sequels are being planned out.
First in the 'Winter Schnee' series.
Mainly Winter/Qrow, hinted Winter/Clover. Trying to eventually lead up to Lucky Snowbyrds, but it will take time... a lot of time.
