His day gets worse when that same man is the conductor of the piece he stupidly agreed to play the solo part for. Dean and Castiel just can't seem to get along in rehearsals, the man makes Dean's blood boil. But, he would be lying if he said there wasn't something about him that made him remember why he pursued music in the first place.

Castiel’s face seemed to change in that moment, his expression breaking into something worried, “Did you find Jimmy?”...
Castiel time travel fix it, accept now he’s Jimmy’s twin brother, Gabriel is their legal guardian, Sam is demon free and Mary is alive.
A love story with Dean still a hunter but less angsty, and Castiel as a not-witch who makes healing potions.

Reverse verse and alternate season four where Gabriel is the righteous man, Sam is the confused, innocent angel trying to control him, Cas is convinced he has to use his psychic powers to stop Lilith and Dean think Cas is an abomination but later changes his mind.
That might not make much sense but if you like Sabriel and Destiel and Season 4 and 5 are your favourite seasons of Supernatural, you'll probably like this fic!

Castiel Novak was a dreamer, and always had his head in the clouds. He dreamed of the day he would meet his soulmate. Where it would happen, what his soul mark would look like, and who the person would be. The one thing Castiel was certain of was that no matter who they were, Castiel would love them. At the age of thirty-five, he still hadn't met his soulmate yet, but that was okay. Castiel would patiently wait for them.
When the two cross paths, it goes nothing like how either of them planned.
