Harry is dying. Harry is not sure he wants to die.
(Ron, Hermione, and Sirius are pretty adamant they don't want him to, so he supposes he has to go along with that.)He needs to blood of his father - and isn't that just a little too close to the end of his 4th year, but Harry's life is made of painful parallels. Like the fact that he needs to find the father who doesn't know he exists, and he never wanted to meet, so that he doesn't die.
But on the plus side, Ron said he would rip his father apart and Hermione said she would poison him, should he not decide to help Harry.
So, Harry leaves Britain and goes all the way to Gotham City in New Jersey (his father is American, bloody hell) to find his father, one Richard Grayson.
It ends up being a lot more complicated than he thought it would be. Because of course it is.

It is with great pride that I offer up for your reading pleasure, the story of The Secret King.This epic tale is based on 2 PCs that were originally created back in 1996: Lone-Hawk-Hunting-for-his-Prey (aka. Hawk) and Moyra Roth. This particular tale is from the creative mind of Julie Yakes, my best friend and roommate. She is the architect of this wonderfully engaging story of two people in love with each other; their family, their country, their trials and tribulations and even mundane moments of their lives. Julie ran this as our own private 1:1 RPG via email for more than 14 years (with some breaks every once in a while) and has agreed to let me post this wonderful work that we created together. This story kept me sane as I traveled as a consultant, gone from home 4 days a week – and especially during the dark days when I could not go home during 9/11 and was stuck in DC.
Hawk and Moyra are pieces of ourselves and I hope you find their story as engaging as we still do. Be prepared for a story filled with magic, mythical creatures, journeys of self-acceptance, adventure and love… and even a few modern world easter eggs thrown in there for good measure.

Dick Grayson—Robin, the Boy-Wonder—is finally out from Batman's shadow, and finds himself the newly minted leader of his own fledgling team: Victor Stone, cybernetically enhanced tech-genius; Koriand'r of Tamaran, alien Princess with explosive fire power; Garfield Logan, animal-shapeshifting goofball; and Raven, dark telekinetic with a mysterious past.
Fresh off their victory over the aliens that attacked their city, the five young heroes begin their training, learning about their powers, their strengths and weaknesses, and how to work and fight and live together as a team.
Then, a new, untrained meta appears, in desperate need of their help.
But as the unexpected newcomer joins the group, they start to wonder if there may be more to Terra than meets the eye…
