Summary
Mary’s hand joined his on her stomach, resting gently over his knuckles, cool and soft and smooth where his mechanic’s hands were warm and callused and rough. “I thought…” she bit her lip and a furrow appeared between her eyebrows. “I thought we could name him, or her, for my parents.”
There was a silence between them shared for a while, a depth of loss and loneliness as they both remembered their parents.
“Samuel,” John whispered to the solid mound of flesh underneath both of their hands. The silence was broken as she smirked slightly and shook her head, rolling her eyes with fondness and sadness and pinched the top of his hand.
“And Deanna, if it’s a girl,” she reminded.
It was a girl.

Summary
It doesn’t matter how big or how clever he gets, Sam thinks. He's still just the little brother, the youngest son, the baby, there to be put down and bossed around and derided as selfish and mean and bratty and stupid and betraying the family for daring to want things. His cardinal sin: Sam has never been able to quash the desire he deserves something better.
July 1998. John Winchester has GPS trackers implanted in his sons, predictably without telling his youngest. Sam is not pleased. Dean deals with the fallout.
Three points of view (sort of). One story.
OR:
Sam does a lot of things Dean can’t fathom, but locking himself in the bathroom and attempting to operate on himself has got to be the most patently insane.Series

Summary
"You ran away on my watch. I looked everywhere for you. I thought you were dead. And when Dad came home…"
Flagstaff, Arizona, 1998: Fifteen-year-old Sam has taken off, and John blames Dean, banishing him until John can find Sam.
So Dean does what he does best: Uses his brain and body to survive on the street. At just nineteen, though, he ends up meeting with people smarter and stronger than him, and if not for some divine intervention from a time-traveling angel, he might be in some deep trouble.
In this story, Castiel travels back in time to one of Dean's darkest memories and tries to make things right for his friend. Along the way, he discovers that their relationship transcends time.
Because we have so little information on what actually happened in Flagstaff (or even when it happened), I've taken a lot of liberties with this story canon-wise.

Summary
“What should we—“ The real Sam starts to ask, but the image of Sam reaches his arms out, as if grabbing for someone. Sam falls silent.
Someone steps into the cradle of his arms—appearing between one blink and the next—and Sam’s arms wind around them like he knows exactly who they are. He smiles, slow and happy, a hand sliding into short brown hair. It’s a man, Dean realizes, a little surprised.
Sam makes a noise behind him, and Dean doesn’t understand for a second. That’s when he realizes he doesn't recognize the person because he’s not used to looking at this person from the back: it’s him. It’s Dean in his brother’s arms, sliding a leg between Sam’s and leaning forward so Sam has no choice but to press his back fully to the trunk. Sam’s eyes go soft as he looks down at him, and it shouldn’t feel like a punch to the gut, but it does.
“Dean,” He says, and every hair on Dean’s own body raises, as if the Sam behind him had leaned forward and whispered it into his own ear.
And they kiss.

Summary
Based around “Bad Boys” (spoilers for season 9, episode 7). Hungry, protective, hurt, angsty teen Dean morphing into well fed, protective, hurt, angsty adult Dean.
So many questions in this episode and things that didn't make sense. Would Dean really lose the food money playing poker? Why does he have werewolf bruises when his dad is off hunting a rugaru? What goes through Dean’s mind at the end of the episode as he looks at Sonny’s house? Was Dean's first kiss really not until he was 16? How did he feel when his dad LEFT HIM (being Mr. Abandonment Issues himself). Does Sam really let Dean get off so easily as they drive away in the Impala? A story to scratch all those itchy spots. Oh, plus some Flagstaff thrown in!

...What exactly happened in Flagstaff?
