Basically...... I, like everyone else, was completely pulled in and inspired by All the Young Dudes by MsKingBean89, so decided to write my own long and windy marauders story.
I intend for this to be a long, sprawling, large story, stretching out very far into the future from the gang's first year -- with the huge difference being that Peter never turns, and James and Lily don't die during the war. That isn't to say this won't be just as cutting, full of just as much upset and angst, but, well; you'll see. Happy and angsty and winding and sad and whumpy and introspective. Written from Remus's perspective because he is my favorite and because he seems the most reflective and watchful, and because he starts off as very much the self-asserted outsider.
If this looks familiar it's because I orphaned an early version of the first chapter a few years ago -- I pinky promise I'm not stealing anyone's work.
