Summary
Garak stared at the razor in his hand, its edge gleaming faintly. He could feel the heat of Julian’s skin beneath his fingers, fragile but alive. His breath caught in his throat, but he forced himself to steady his hand. If he could mend torn fabric, he could do this.
Slowly, breathing through the tightness in his chest, he let the razor blade glide, as if it were a pair of scissors through Bolian silk.

Summary
In a universe where Garak remains the perfect instrument of the Obsidian Order, Julian Bashir becomes an exile. Cardassia Prime is the last place anyone would expect him to survive—and the first place that might break him.
Fleeing the Federation under the shadow of treason, Julian’s desperate escape lands him in the heart of Cardassian power. Enabran Tain, the master puppeteer of the Obsidian Order, has taken an interest in the young doctor—an interest that binds him to Garak, Tain’s most loyal operative.
But loyalty on Cardassia is a weapon as much as a virtue, and Garak is as much interrogator as savior. As Julian fights to retain his humanity, the truths he uncovers may cost him the very thing he’s struggling to keep.
In the labyrinth of Cardassian intrigue, survival is only the beginning. To endure, Julian must decide: is he willing to become the monster they expect—or something far worse?

Summary
Really, the conflict starts when Julian gets back from his second involuntary trip to the mirror universe. It was a perfectly reasonable decision to help that universe’s Garak gain political asylum in Julian’s universe. He’d helped him escape… broadly. Well, it was more self-interest than altruism, but everyone deserved a chance to better themselves and staying in his own universe would likely have gotten him killed. Definitely Julian’s being objective and his intimate relationship with his universe’s Garak isn’t influencing his decisions at all.
The only thing that stops the two Garaks from killing one another when they first meet is the fact that Julian is literally standing between them and refuses to back down. The Garaks share three things: mutual distrust, the same taste in stubborn and hopelessly optimistic doctors, and an unshakeable conviction that they are in fact the same person.

Summary
The Federation has fallen prey to a coup d’etat orchestrated by Edward Janeway. While he establishes his hold on the newly-styled Terran Union, the legitimate government-in-exile of the Federation licks its wounds on DS9. Desperate for allies, William Riker goes to the gamma quadrant in search of his blood brother, Martok, who has been imprisoned by the Jem’Hadar. The Dominion chooses this time to launch their attack on DS9 and Kathryn Janeway is torn between needing to keep hope alive for finding Will, and the fight for the Federation she loves.
~*~
This is a heavily canon-divergent, plot-driven story with plenty of Janeway/Riker romance. There’s a summary of previous events in the a/ns if you want to hop on board here. Note that the tone is darker than previous entries, with graphic depictions of violence, and minor character death. There is no major character death, however, and with me the angst always has a happy ending. E-rated smut for J/R.

Summary
It’s a surprise when a Federation Starfleet officer turns up in the Dominion prison camp that has, to date, mostly contained Cardassian and Romulan intelligence operatives. Everyone knows what they say about Federation types, and about humans in particular. Martok has laughed along with all the usual jokes and never once expected it to become… relevant.
Maybe all that Starfleet ingenuity and, well, ““creativity””, could be focused on solving the problem of how to get laid when you’re surrounded by enemies and can’t afford the normal, wholesome injuries that are an inevitable by-product of healthy, respectable Klingon sex.

Summary
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a dragon in possession of a hoard, must be in want of a Prince or Princess…at least that’s what Prince Julian Bashir of Subatoi hopes when he escapes his life as crown prince to be the doctor of the small village of Deep Spire, the 9th province of Bajor. Rumor has it, a Cardassian dragon has taken roost there and Julian means to find it.

Summary
Deep Space Nine is hosting its fifth annual Peldor Festival. Garak, still struggling to accept the loss of his own home, despises the sound of joy and celebration. All he wants is to be alone.
He fails to notice how thoroughly the changeling that replaces Bashir deceives him.

The Federation reached its long limbs across the ink of space, unendingly planting itself with shallow roots in a thousand worlds. A Cardassian needed nothing outside of the nourishment of the homeland. They sustained the motherland, and in turn, she sustained them. Humans could not truly know isolation, for should they try hard enough, it seemed they could create a home anywhere, fickle creatures that they were. -
