"I was planning to teach you, but if you'd rather rest up-" Dan Feng murmured into his neck, the heat from the other's air leaving goosebumps in its wake.
"You're still being cruel, Yue!"
Dan Feng sighed, "and what of your cruelty, beloved?"

It's like being in another world, on the starskiff that flies through the air. There are no others anywhere in sight, the enormity of the Xianzhou Luofu providing many such empty places, far above the people calling the ship their home. Up in the sky he can pretend there are no obligations waiting for them, no titles or duties, no wars or rituals. There is just them, flying freely through the clouds.
"What are you thinking about?" a male voice asks, only a moment before someone sits down behind him, arms pulling him close.
The curve of his mouth grows more prominent as Dan Feng shifts into a more comfortable position, leaning back against the broad chest. His fingers play idly with the water droplets trying to keep up.
