Summary
After 5 years Atsumu feels great. He’s finally playing pro volleyball and to make things even better, he gets to play with Sakusa, the love of his life. Everything’s going well until a small player with the name of Hinata Shoyo joins the team. Atsumu finds himself spiraling and ends up going back to his eating disorders.

Summary
All it took was one simple blog post to convince Atsumu that he needed to starve himself. Call him gullible or easy to manipulate, but he’d say desperate was a better description. After 6 months of chronic insomnia, old memories resurfacing, and the ever present risk of failing in volleyball, Atsumu needed control and he needed it now. So, when a teenager on the internet tells you the best way to gain it is through cutting your calories and exercising till you pass out, Atsumu believes it, because what else is he supposed to do? And he’s taking his newfound religion to heart; and no one can tear a believer from their god after all.
So, he’ll ignore the pleading from others around him to change his ways and write them off as herticts instead. Atsumu’s become a disciple that intends to leave a message when he finally departs from this earthly confine.
But when he meets a curly headed angel who seems to understand him like no one else can, he starts to question whether or not he’s on the right path.
When he reaches a fork in the road, he must make a decision between two paths.
Which will Atsumu pick?
The path that leads to Control.

An alternate take on the events of the game, starting at the time when Varric recruits Rook to help track down Solas and stop his ritual to bring down the Veil.
This will include rearranging some events, tweaking the world of Veilguard to better reflect pre-established Dragon Age lore etc, see more in the Notes section, and in some cases writing characters a little bit OOC. Not much, mind. Just... how they may have been if Veilguard had been more of a DA game.
Also, this is going to be focusing a lot on the Emmrook romance. As in, it starts in Act 1, and evolves over the course of the game. If you know my writing already, you have an idea what this means. To the uninitiated, expect a lot of angst, knife twists of the plot variety, and ultimately, a happy ending.
Oh, and smut. Beware the smut.
