Summary
This is an arthurian chat fic I wrote in 2022 when I was 15 or 16, so you are now forewarned that this isn't up to my usual quality or current interpretations of legend, but i've been told it's funny and we neeeed some chat fics in this fandom so I'm sharing this! I'll only really be editing for grammar and such, but I'll include in the notes the reasoning behind any of the odd choices if i remember them. =)

Summary
The king's fingers do not know him. They will never know him well enough; Lancelot turns away from his hands with a burning passion. Where usually he would throw himself with abandon into the arms of the sovereign, he rejects him. Each stolen touch on the altar of his shames sends him back to all those nights spent in the hollows of unknown arms.
Arthur is malleable under his hands, more human thaneven. He no longer looks like an idol, he looks like those boys who, all their lives, have been prohibited from speaking. He looks like Lancelot.
In his dreams, the king is no longer sovereign but simply “Arthur”, he is tender and accessible, Lancelot finds refuge in these plead-filled eyes. The knight wonders if this was not what he was like as a child, before the crown came to satisfy its leaden mantle. -

Summary
Between concern over strange chaos energy emitting from Sonic's storybook and a longing to see a certain knight, Shadow and Sonic both have reasons for wanting to visit the world of Camelot. After finding their way there, Sonic is surprised to discover that, unbeknownst to him before, he, too, has a double — the ruler of the kingdom, a very real King Arthur, who is apparently on horribly bad terms with his closest knight, Sir Lancelot. After a terrible falling out between the two and a life-or-death ultimatum from the king, Shadow shocks everyone by taking Lancelot's place. Now in exile, Lancelot is brought into Sonic's world, and the knight must contend with the often devastatingly drastic differences he encounters. Meanwhile, through a series of events, Shadow eventually finds himself in the position of Arthur's queen; though not all is well as he navigates what that entails and as crises emerge in the kingdom.
As the dynamics in each relationship take shape, the four of them learn more about themselves, each other, and their counterparts than they ever knew before; but when the source of the strange chaos energy makes itself known, all bets are off.

The green knight walked up to the clothed table, axe in one hand and a holly bough in the other. He placed the holly on the table in front of Arthur and removed his helmet revealing he had, dark hair and a well trimmed beard, all with a slight green hue. The knight surveyed the table, thinking, than looking as if he had come to a conclusion, he spoke, “I mean you and your knights no harm my king.” He turned to the rest of the hall, “ even if I did your, knights are too weak to defeat me!” He boasted, which got a rise from the crowd and looks of disgust from some of the knights. He looked back at Arthur, “I would just like to play a festive game.”

Summary
Les doigts du roi ne le connaissent pas. Ils ne le connaitront jamais assez ; Lancelot se détourne de ses mains avec une passion brûlante. Là où, habituellement, il se jetterait avec abandon dans les bras du souverain, il le rejette. Chaque touche volée sur l’autel de ses hontes le renvoie à toutes ces nuits passées aux creux de bras inconnus.
Arthur est malléable sous ses mains, plus humain que jamais. Il ne ressemble plus à un idole, il ressemble à ces garçons à qui, toute leur vie, on a refusé la parole. Il ressemble à Lancelot.
Dans ses rêves, le roi n’est plus souverain mais simplement “Arthur”, il est tendre et accessible, Lancelot trouve refuge dans ces yeux emplis de suppliques. Le chevalier se demande si là n’était pas ce qu’il était enfant, avant que la couronne ne vienne assouvir sa chape de plomb.
Une réécriture du mythe de Lancelot du Lac. -
