Months and years having passed, Kamiya Satoshi suddenly remembers the old days.
It is an embellished memory of childhood.
A fantasy......
The imaginary creatures, Pokémon, and their adventure. Friendship. Coexistence.
That is, in the real human world, something Satoshi could not possibly encounter.
However, somewhere in childhood, surely Pikachu and the other Pokémon are there, Musashi and Kojirou are there, Mewtwo is there... Everyone Satoshi encountered on his childhood adventure can be seen in the reflection in Satoshi's eyes.
Satoshi hears his mother's voice in his ear.
"Come along, hurry to bed. You set off on your journey in the morning, don't you?"
The next morning, woken up by his mother, Satoshi energetically rushes out of the house.
This is a search "Not to catch Pokémon, not a journey to become a Pokémon Master, but to discover what I am", a journey with the goal of coexisting with others.

In a Digimon Frontier-esque setting, Taylor is the only Digidestined in the group who hasn't uncovered her Digital Spirit. Her inability to Digivolve has sparked tensions in the group, constant fights erupting between those who think she's too weak to be a part of the Digidestined and those who still have hope for her. She attempts to find a brief reprieve from the fighting, but in doing so, finds herself desperately lost. Two seemingly friendly Digimon promise they can help find the way back to her friends, but they have other plans in mind. They trick her into following them to their cruel Master, Myotismon. In his castle, she finds herself at the crux of some malicious plot, the fate of her independence and the entire Digital World hanging in the balance. Though her friends try desperately to track her down, they might not be fast enough to pull her back from The Edge Of Darkness.
