Summary
Following the death of Albus Dumbledore, the death eaters successfully seize the castle. Most student manage to escape, but those left behind will never be whole again. The teachers that remained are quickly dispatched of by sending them to the bottom of the lake wrapped in heavy chains, and desirable prisoners of war become slaves for the deviant death eaters. The castle is twisted and changed into their base, leaving it unrecognisable in some places.
Hermione Granger, six years after the war erupted, has found a way to kill without dark magic. It's messy but it gets the job done, she feels no guilt for the lives she snatches and happily tears masks from their faces before killing them. Until she unmasks Draco Malfoy and she finds that she cannot do it. More than once. When she is eventually captured, it will be the reason she survives, and Draco will use her brain to his own advantage. But along the way, his intentions may change, but will it be enough?

Summary
In the aftermath of the war, all marked Death Eaters are imprisoned in Azkaban for a minimum of fifteen years.
After a hard fight, Harry Potter and Blaise Zabini managed to get some of the Death Eaters released under certain conditions. One of these conditions is that they must marry a Muggle, a Squib or a Muggleborn.
Draco Malfoy, locked up for the past seven years and abused by vengeful wardens, is freed and finds himself married to Hermione Granger, who will take him in at her farm in the Pyrenees, where she fled to try to rebuild her life.
But war and imprisonment have left their mark on all of them and between anxiety, agoraphobia and post-traumatic stress, they will have to relearn how to live and not just to survive.This fic is illustrated.
