Akito felt the corners of his eyes water up a bit. He started breathing while counting in his head, trying to steady himself and prevent his overwhelming emotions to bleed through him. He hummed a tune as quietly as possible while pressing his lips against Touya's hand, again and again; over and over until his mouth felt numb. It was all he could do, really; everytime he felt overwhelmed, the only thing keeping him at bay was his partner's touch, and words, and glances. But since he was asleep, and since Akito had no intention of waking him up, this would have to suffice. It was funny, in a way: being overwhelmed by his emotions for Touya, and yet the only person that could make him feel better about it was Touya himself.
