Summary
A beautiful woman captures the attention of Jarrod Barkley. He begins to pursue her only to find out she’s been keeping a secret that threatens to destroy his trust in her. The past is dredged up and Jarrod pushes her away only to be swept up in his feelings for her and events of the past.
Author’s Note: In “Odyssey of Jubal Tanner” in the scene just after the credits, Jarrod and Nick are in Sacramento to get permission from the Rivers and Harbors Commission to build a dam in Oak Meadows. A man in the hearing talked about Tom Barkley’s “political ambitions.” According to IMDb, that character’s name was Finletter but he did not have a first name so I gave him one as I made him a part of the story.

This involves all the Barkley siblings (even Eugene) as they gather to celebrate Victoria's grandson's birthday. After the festivities the family reminisces about some of the misadventures they had while growing up. **In this story Heath joined the family at a much younger age so he could be involved in his brother's hi-jinks.**

Summary
An AU of how Heath comes to live at the Barkley Ranch. This story loosely follows series canon - including some episodes from the tv series but not necessarily in order. It starts before Heath finds out who his father was...before the death of his mother and his visit to Strawberry. Though the focus is on Heath in the beginning, it will eventually shift to other members of the family.

Summary
What will it take for Nick to accept Heath as a brother? Will he lose the chance to find out when Heath sets out on a special errand?
A story that grew out of the Whumptober 2021 prompts. It Will be slightly AU because it is not following the series canon, but the characterizations of each should be close to the series.
