“But it’s all good, innit,” Eggsy began, teeth worrying his bottom lip. Harry tried his very best not to stare. “If you’s saying I’m a new blood whatever, nobody’s gonna want anythin’ to do with me. Since I’m, like, impure or summat, right?”
“It is because you are New Blood that you will be desired,” Harry explained gently. “Old Blood is static, predictable, and, well, old. New Blood allows the possibility for new abilities, better offspring. For that, other Wolfkin will literally fight tooth and nail to have a chance to mate with you.”
“That’s not how it goes in the books,” Eggsy tried a little desperately, the space between his brows creasing.
“Perhaps, my boy, but unfortunately, this isn’t a fairytale.” Harry sighed, turning his brown eyes towards the night sky. His Wolf howled at the full moon. “This is real life.”

Since the arrival of the Kaiju, the Jaeger Program has been humanity's number-one source of protection - and in the UK at least, they've realized that the best Jaeger pilots are an Alpha and Omega pair. Harry Hart can attest to that - Merlin was his Omega partner, until they both retired to teaching roles instead, Harry teaching the young Alpha candidates and Merlin the Omegas.
Today Merlin has an Omega graduate that is ready to be tested in the sparring ring to find an Alpha Drift partner - a rather public bit of combat colloquially known as 'the Heat.'
There are two problems with this: 1) Harry's students can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that the sparring is not about seeing who can dominate the Omega in the ring, it's about compatibility, and 2) Merlin's Omega student, Eggsy... looks entirely too good standing shirtless in that sparring ring, armed with nothing but a staff and a challenging smile.

Dean's just kicked him out and he hads nowhere to go. If he returned home, Dean promised that he'd kill Eggsy and make it look like an accident.
So, Eggsy ran off. Stole a car. Drove an hour away to Epsom, where he knew a posh old Alpha kept an Omega sanctuary. He'd seen it on the news once.
Eggsy knew the sanctuary was only really for Show Omegas deemed 'past their prime', but maybe this Alpha, Harry, would take a scruffy young Omega like him in too?
