New Pines wasn't a bad place to live, all things considered.
After all, it was a decently populated area, with a good number of restaurants, shopping centers, and other miscellaneous facilities scattered throughout, making it virtually impossible to get bored. Plus, the residents seemed pretty nice.
Or, due to his uncle getting a better job, Shuichi Saihara finds himself moving to an entirely new town for his senior year of high school. Luckily, some of the worries are alleviated when a friend group decides to adopt him. Shuichi is now thrown into a whole new world of friendship, love, and everything else in between, and he's in for a wild ride, to say the least.

Amami raises his eyebrows. Unfolds his legs only to recross them at the ankles. He’s wearing crocs. Akamatsu hadn’t taken him for the crocs type. When she told him as much, Amami had laughed and admitted that he wasn’t, but continued that he didn’t have time to find better camp shoes and they were comfortable enough. His crocs are blue. Akamatsu would have sort of expected him to wear green.
“Yeah,” Amami says eventually, and smiles. “We have plenty more to do, so it makes sense to trade off, right? I get it if you don’t want to risk your hands, though.”
Right. Akamatsu fists her hands in her sweatshirt. She’s flattered—she thinks—that Amami remembered how careful she was with her hands back in the simulation. It’s not something she really worries about these days, despite still playing the piano here and there. She’s trying to learn how to cook, because Harukawa is her housemate and tends to take on the lion’s share of chores, and well, that inherently means risking your hands a little.
That’s not why she’s hesitating.

Authorities assumed they died, but now... a year after the Jabberwock Island resolution, Hajime Hinata has received a strange broadcast.
