    huang junjie and xia zhiguang are well-known thugs in the underworld.

    huang jun jie, leader of "crimson hawks", also known as the "flower fiend", is a man who uses his innocent-looking charms to distract his opponents; bringing them down before they could even react. he would put up an act to trick his victims into thinking he was a victim of various scenarios, then sneakily luring them into the lion's den to force his prey to repay their debt.

    xia zhi guang, on the other hand, is known for being brutal and merciless; hence the nickname, "beast of allure". born with two distinct moles under his eye, his facial features stood out to many, capturing the hearts of many ladies he walks by. the leader of "fang reapers" doesn't smile on a daily basis, only when he is satisfied seeing the fear on the faces of his victims will he then smile and taunt.

    however, instead of working together to create a stronger and more powerful gang; they stand against each other whilst holding unknown grudges in their hearts. they grit their teeth when they see each other, along with deadly glares.

    Ruan Lanzhu and Ling Jiushi had succeeded and reached the end of the 12th door of the Spirealm, the place to end the existence of a specific Hell that has taken the lives of multiple people unfortunate enough to stumble across it. The duo had said their piece and goodbyes when the beautiful scenery turned red, and the sound of an ear-piercing alarm blared all around them. Before the duo could fully react to the changes, Ruan Lanzhu was nowhere in sight. Alongside the disappearance of the NPC, so did everything around him when it suddenly turned pitch black accompanied by ear ringing silence… But then, amidst the darkness, a text appeared in front of Ling Jiushi.

    In the end, Ruan Nanzhu supposes, there’s no way it could have been avoided. At best, it could be mitigated: Ruan Nanzhu sticking close to Lin Qiushi’s side for the rest of eternity, making sure his wounds weren’t as heavy. But he can’t help but be seethingly, horribly angry at the client who had caused this—at the fact that, because of them, Lin Qiushi is pallid and deathly, limp and pliant. His only comfort is they had died, there, behind the door—the least they deserve for letting Lin Qiushi get hurt like this; if they weren’t dead already, Ruan Nanzhu—well. People have described him as ruthless, and Ruan Nanzhu has never bothered to weigh in otherwise. He hasn’t killed many people, but for Lin Qiushi—for Lin Qiushi, there are many, many things he would do that he wouldn’t usually.

    Injured in his first solo door, Lin Qiushi seems to be on the verge of death when he emerges, leaving Ruan Nanzhu to wait and hope for him to recover—at least, until he suddenly awakens, seemingly without any trace of injury. But not everything is as it appears, and secrets will always out.
