Always found it weird Bryce of all people thinks Rust having a son is just some story aspect of his game considering Bryce literally has a canonical relative that he still sees as family in present day canon. So I figured out a reasonable explanation, rambled about it to my girlfriend, and then decided to write a fic about it. Because the hyperfixation/brainrot is back for this game and I needed a warm-up fic before attempting anything bigger
