Summary
Despite the prejudices of it’s inhabitants, the Wasteland was somewhere that magic thrived. Traditional magic was commonplace in the lands, enchanting, potion making, even the totems of undying and end crystals. Hacked clients embedded in player code were just code magic, despite how hackers portrayed themselves as just engineers with special knowledge.
So magic might have been a hush-hush topic -a mere mention of the word would be met with ridicule- but that didn’t mean it wasn’t there.

"Do you ever get pains? Not phantom limbs, but like, pains in your shoulder, yknow?" Pac asked, without looking up.
"Um... n-no not really..." Fit stuttered. He had never felt so tongue-tied and flustered before, but again he had never met someone like Pac before. It was sort of overwhelming and he felt like his shoulder was tingling under every touch.

Unfortunately, that gets a little more difficult when rumours of dragons start circulating around the server, and a bounty is eventually placed on his head by an anonymous source, wanted alive, and unharmed.

Pac has seen his friend get killed in front of his eyes, and his soulmate Mike ripped away from him. He tag teams with a 2b2t resident named Fit, both looking for Mike for different reasons. Six months later, Pac is suffering from a stab wound, lying down in a makeshift bed. His thoughts have been getting darker, and his will is slipping. After a shocking wake-up call for Pac, Fit helps him out by offering what he needs. And Pac, who has been trying not to fall deeper in love with the man, asks him to lie down next to him.

It was huge, and powerful, and delusional, because who the fuck wasted that many precious materials on a flashy build in 2b2t? Did they want to be targeted by every hacker in a thousand block radius?
