Summary
"I don't blame you." Ianto says, quietly. He doesn't lift his eyes, like he's worried someone will overhear.
Tosh swallows, her lip wobbling. "Thank you. You should though."
Ianto raises his eyebrows, still filling out the paper work. "How could I?"
She feels so sad for him, even still. Now that he's sitting in front of her- now that she's heard- it seems so obvious. She barely knew Mary a month, she can't imagine what it must have felt like for Ianto.
Except she can, she'd heard it.-----
I noticed Tosh and Ianto sitting in Jack's office at the end of Greeks Bearing Gifts, and wondered what they were talking about. Heres that.

Summary
Ianto's tidying and Jack's filing something to send to UNIT. They're always pestering him with paperwork, but he supposes the 21st century has given them unfettered access to bother him. Ianto makes his way up the spiral stairs; ever focused on the task at hand, hardly making a sound, and finds his way into Jack's office. He straightens Jack's coat on the rack. "Evening, Ianto."
Ianto stiffens, just barely noticeable out of the corner of Jack's eye. "Evening, Sir."
A quiet falls over them, seeping in, settling over Jack's shoulders. He shakes it off. “Do you have family around here, Ianto?” Jack asks, looking up from the papers in front of him.
He gives Jack a look, likes he's asking something supremely invasive. “It’s in my file, Sir.” With that, Ianto takes Jack’s dirty mug and turns away.
“Sure, but-“ Jack gets up and follows him. “Tell me yourself.”---
Based off Jack’s journal entries on Ianto's state after Cyberwoman from the Torchwood Archive book.
