Summary
Steve and Peter lose their apartment and are kicked out on the streets. Steve has to juggle between jobs to earn whatever money he can, take care of his son while resfusing to let him realize how much they're trouble in, and keep them warm and safe on the city streets in winter.
So, he really doesn't have time to date the billionaire that flirts with him everyday as he buys his cup of coffee. Even if he did, he can't let himself fall for the man. Because if he knew that he lived from a backpack and showered in a public bathroom there's no way he'd still want him...right?

Summary
“What did you want to do? Before all this.”
Steve felt his lips upturn into a sad smile. “Before what? Before we were out on the streets?”
“I don’t mean it like that,” Tony quickly said, even though Steve didn’t know what way he was talking about. “I just...want to know the Steve before the bad.”
“There is no Steve before the bad,” Steve whispered, hating the truth of it. “Before Nat’s was washing dishes in a diner and before that was stocking freezers in a supermarket and before that was taking care of my sick mother.”

Peter and Steve are finally settling into their new life with Tony. Recovery isn't always a straight line, especially with a four-year-old, but they're trying their best. He shouldn't have been surprised that the public didn't believe in his rags to riches love story.
Tony usually makes it easier for him to handle it all. Until he starts to distance himself from Steve, as if now he's the one hiding something. And Steve is left wondering if he's about to lose Tony for good this time.
