looking forward to: currently? getting enough sleep to not wake up exhausted. In general? Therapy.

last book: The last book I finished reading was Micrographia. I never expected to be so very entertained by a science book written in the 1600s. I understood only 40% of it, but it touched my soul.

last movie: Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Story.

last tv show: Simpsons. I love watching it while I draw or work because it requires little brain power. If I try to watch something like toh or Amphibia, I end up just focusing on it instead of doing the work I want to.

sweet/savory/spicy: Definitely sweets. I eat way too much sugar. However, I also use cayenne, and jalapenos if available, in 70% of my cooking so idk

relationship status: Single. Honestly, as long as I have friends Idgaf

last thing I googled: How to get better at playing sheet music. After over a decade of piano, I'm still mediocre at best

current obsession: Httyd (books specifically) which is probably obvious, but also classical fairytales and classical fairytale adjacent stuff (Ever after high)

looking forward to: Finishing my novel. It's been about a year and I am 1/8 of the way through writing it. I just hope I actually stick with it till the end.

Last Thing I Web Searched: Flamingos, believe it or not. I saw a picture of one at work, and I was trying to figure out if they were indigenous to Africa.

Current Obsession: Hmm ... sadly, nothing springs immediately to mind. I am really enjoying crocheting a Victorian cycling-style sweater and try to work on that as much as possible. I'm also getting back into the Dune universe, so maybe that as well?

Looking Forward To: Getting around to watching Alien: Romulus one of these days, and putting up decorations in my new apartment so it starts feeling more like home.

My mom (who is a licensed therapist and mental health professional) and I both think he shows more Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) traits mixes with a good dose of trauma.

Symptoms he matches with ODD (just to help validate my point): .Being angry, irritable, resentful, or spiteful .Arguing with family or coworkers, refusing to follow rules, or deliberately annoying people .Blaming others for mistakes, feeling vengeful, or having a strong need to win arguments .Feeling disdain for authority figures .Having trouble taking criticism

Those are just a few symptoms, and I can 100% see how people would believe he's autistic, and I did for a while as well, but this just seems to make a bit more sense to me.
