She got her feet in the water of pop culture news coverage at Legion of Leia and That Hashtag Show, where she learned the ins and outs of running a website, posting news in real-time, and writing reviews. She has since brought her pop-culture savvy and various hyperfixations to her work at ComingSoon, Vital Thrills, But Why Tho? - A Geek Community, and Nightmarish Conjurings. Sarah is currently the Editor-in-Chief at Nightmarish Conjurings, having steadily worked her way up from general contributor since 2018. In 2019, she became a Rotten Tomatoes Certified Critic and has since made a concentrated effort to put a spotlight on indie films to get their ranking on Rotten Tomatoes. Her short story "Under These Watchful Eyes" will debut in "Rewired: An Anthology of Neurodiverse Horror" in the fall of 2022.
Education
Sarah has a Bachelor's in Chinese Studies and an Associate's Degree in English. She is in the process of applying to MFA programs in North America as she pivots to the next stage of her writing life.
