Design of an
Intelligent Washing Machine
X-007 CS
Scenarios
Working Woman:
Not possible to given continuous attention
Expect the machine to complete the cleaning, drying and folding
Mix of clothes to be automatically handled by the machine.
Farmer:
Water scarcity 8-10ltrs of hard water
Heavily soiled clothes of 4 people
Power cuts and voltage fluctuations
Easy to use
Scenario -cont.
Small house:
Less space to locate the machine wall mount is preferable
Should be silent
Quick wash option for daily used clothes

Maintenance scenario:
Level1: Should display the cause and instructions to the user
Level2: When the fault requires spares or specialized attention, should
automatically communicate to the service center by SMS or over
Internet. Service center should identify the spares required, and
schedule a service call with the customer.
