Description General Specifications

The 42CA is a family of general
Light Source Infrared 880nm or visible red 650nm
purpose photoelectric sensors intended
for light to medium duty industrial Unit Protection Reverse polarity, output shortĆcircuit and overload protection (SCP)
applications. They are packaged in an Supply voltage 10-30V DC
industry standard 18mm cylindrical Current Consumption 30mA maximum
housing.
Output Type NPN or PNP
Five possible modes of sensing include
Output Mode Light or dark operate selectable
transmitted beam, diffuse,
retroreflective, polarized retroreflective, Output Rating 100mA
and background suppression, allowing Response Time 2ms (0.5ms for background suppression)
