A Notice to All Ambit Residential Energy Customers
Effective September 1, 2017, the TDUs received approval from the Public Utility Commission of Texas ("PUCT") to increase selected
delivery charges for all residential customers in their service territories. The PUCT ruled the increases were reasonable and necessary as
a result of increased energy distribution costs. This increase affects all Retail Electric Providers ("REP"), including Ambit Energy.
This change in delivery charges will result in a per kWh increase based on the rates listed below. Any back-billed charges will appear on
statements with the description "Delivery Rate Increase" and will be identified by service period. The PUCT allows this increase on
variable and fixed rate products under rule 25.475(d)(2)(a)(b). This is not a material change to your terms of service with Ambit Energy,
since this is an allowable rate increase for customers.

Why does my bill have prorated charges?
Your bill may have prorated charges if you have recently changed your rate plan, or if you are on a variable price plan, a rate change may
occur during your billing cycle.
What is an Average Price?
Each month, your bill will show the average price you paid for electricity. The average amount is calculated by adding your energy
charges plus any recurring monthly fees from either Ambit or your delivery provider and dividing by your total kilowatt hours (kWh) used
that month.
