NEED TO KNOW:
Visiting Author - Peter Lerangis: (Friday, November 18th)
Peter Lerangis is the author of more than one hundred and
sixty books, which have sold more than five and half million copies and been translated into twenty-eight different
languages. His most popular titles include, The Colossus
Rises, the first book in the New York Times Bestselling series Seven Wonders, and two books in the 39 Clues series.

Please be reminded that all students are requested to present

their IDs when paying for their meals in the Kantina or Bearcat
Cafe. Some students have simply been quoting their ID number
and we wish to communicate that this is not sufficient enough
to ring up the order. When paying for items a students photo
ID needs to be validated against the photo on the computer
screen. Please also note that students are not allowed to use
other student ID cards to purchase items. If a student does not
have his/her ID card he/she should stop by the MS Office where
our helpful secretaries will issue a slip that can be used for the
day. All Kantina vendors have been reminded to enforce these
rules as of Monday - no exceptions!
Some students have expressed a concern that the lines at the
Campus Card top-up machines are long. We have identified
that break and lunch times are the busiest times and encourage
students to top-up their cards before or after school. Parents
are also reminded that they can load money onto their childs
card from home via CampusCard system.
Wishing you all a great weekend!
Kind Regards,
Rachel Harrington, Middle School Principal
Amanda Pekin, Assistant Middle School Principal

Dear Parents,
The ISM Music Department is delighted to invite all grades 6,
7, & 8 male and female singers to audition for the 2016-2017
Honor Choir Festivals in Jakarta, Indonesia! The festivals are
hosted by the Association of Music in International Schools
(AMIS pronounced like the French word for friends ahmee). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate
with some of the best young voices throughout Asia.

What is the cost?

The festival fee is 170GBP. The other two costs are the flight
and pocket money for some snack food. A flight to Jakarta is
around 300-350USD for the times we want to travel, but it is
too early to give an exact price.

Some additional important details:
