Oral Quiz Questions and Answers
Important Information:
This is an individual, 1:1, 5 min, ORAL test between you and either
your Korean teacher or the foreign native speaker teacher.
This test is worth 30% of your EC grade
Testing period: May 13-30
Each table of each class will be given a scheduled meeting date for
their oral quiz. This schedule will be posted in your homeroom
later this week!
There will be no retests for students that miss their oral quiz.
Score Categories:
The following is an example of the questions you will be asked during your quiz.
You will not be allowed to use any papers or dictionaries during this quiz. The
quiz is designed to evaluate your basic conversational ability.
i. Yes I do. I really enjoy spending time with them because they are
(adjective 1) and (adjective 2). Also I like (name of activity) and (name
of activity) with them.
E.g. Yes I do. I really enjoy spending time with them because they are very
kind and fun to be with. Also I like to watch movies with them and eat dinner
with them on the weekends.
ii. Not really. I sometimes enjoy spending time with them, but I usually like to
(name of activity) and (name of activity) without them.
E.g. Not really. I sometimes enjoy spending time with them, but I usually like
to surf the Internet and watch movies without them.

iii. Not at all. I really hate spending time with them because I find them to be
(BAD adjective 1) and (BAD adjective 2). I rather do things on my own.
E.g. Not at all. I really hate spending time with them because I find them to be
boring and sometimes unkind. I rather do things on my own, or with my
friends only.
E.g. I enjoy playing Frisbee, watching movies, and hiking in my spare time.
E.g. I enjoy playing Frisbee because it is fun and good exercise. I enjoy
watching movies because I find it relaxing. I enjoy hiking because I like to see
natural scenery.
