A Message from Division Head, Kelly Yedid:

Surfing. Point Pleasant. Cake decorating. Carnival. Go karting. Hershey Park. Bowling. Crazy Group Games. How much can we squeeze into one week? But amazing activities and nonstop action alone is not what makes this camp the great camp that it is. What we have here is that special spirit, the bond we all have and the new friendships we have forged. No matter what age you are, or what school u go to, everyone is truly one big happy family. It's not just about interacting with your immediate friends or group, it's about everyone bonding together no matter what it is we are doing, whether it be teaching another camp how to ice skate, walking around with pictures of Heshy taped to us, hanging out in Hershey or jumping into a massive dodgeball game. That is what's truly special about our camp and campers and I wouldn't trade it for anything! Shabbat Shalom everyone! Kelly

A Message from Division Heads Danny Ash & Evan Bailey:

This week in Camp Ora was really one for the books. We started off the week learning to surf in Pier Village and painting cupcakes in art. Our boys have really improved in leagues and sports. We expect they will be part of the Olympics next year at the rate theyre going! On Tuesday we packed our bags and hopped on the bus to HESHY PARK!! We expected rain but we got extra lucky and didnt see a drop on Wednesday. On Thursday we baked yummy goodies and boogied down at roller-skating on Friday. Like every other week, Camp Ora did not let us down and we truly had an awesome week. See you all right on time next week for a trip to the City. Shabbat Shalom, Danny & Evan

A Message from Sports Director Aaron and Ike Yedid:

Another amazing week at Camp Ora!! The girls basketball league is so competitive. What a change from the first week which was basically a game of indoor rugby. Now a month later I see floor spacing, passing with a purpose, and improved shooting and ball handling. Keep up the good work girls! The boys basketball and football leagues are in full swing. Team Galapo looks strong with their methodical half court pound it down low, bludgeon the opposition style. Doge and crew will be a tough out especially if Doge gets hot from three. Maleh and his crazy looking shot will be tough, but right now my money is on Mirwis and gang if they can keep their composure when the going gets tough. Oh, almost forgot Heshy Park was a blast. No better wooden roller-coaster then the Wildcat. My bones still hurt. Giver or Taker? Dear Readers, This week was a great week; we started off Tuesday with an overnight trip to Hershey Park. After a long bus ride to the park it started to thunder storm!! We ended up at the Chocolate Factory where they showed us how to make chocolate. After that, we went to the hotel to settle in for a good night sleep. Wednesday morning I woke up refreshed and ready to start my day. It began with a delicious breakfast. After everyone ate we headed to the park where everyone waited on lines for the best rides. At the end of a long fun filled day we headed home! ~Murray Zalta

On Tuesday we had our GRAND ANNUAL CARNIVAL! We went all out- a giant moon bounce, train ride, cotton candy, face paint, and super cool booths! Thanks to all the staff for setting up amazing booths- fluff n chips, soda tasting, licorice racing, and lots more!! All the kids walked away with tickets, prizes and huge smiles! Wednesday was action packed with gymnastics and dance! Thursday, the three year olds were off to Seven Presidents Parkbeautiful!! Then we cooled off with ICES!
