ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of internship program on
the professional and personal development of accounting graduates in Korbel
Foundation College Inc. Also, this study aims to know the influences and its
effect to the accounting graduates which they can use for their future careers.
Using the random sampling, this study comprises a total of 108 respondents
mainly from the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in
Management Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology.
This study used a quantitative-descriptive research design and data were
collected through typeform and surveyheart. After the data were gathered, it was
tabulated and analyzed through frequency and percentage count.
The findings show that most of the respondents are female and most of
them are in their 20-22 years old and the batch 2020 got a lot number of
graduates who could able to take their internship training. Based on the data we
have gathered, students who have finished their internship said that it helps them
develop various skills they could use for their future. Personal development of the
accountancy students during their internship days improved and based on the
results we have collected, internship did gives an impact on their personal
development and is said to be effective in developing their good relationship
towards others which they can also use and will be helpful once they will
employed.

Based on the findings derived from this study, the researchers
conclude that internship program can help improve and develop the professional
and personal growth of the students and it could help them be job-ready soon
after they graduated. With this, we highly recommend both the school and
students take the internship program seriously.
