AFFIDAVIT
STATE OF IOWA, CALHOUN COUNTY
I, the undersigned, being duly sworn, state that all facts contained in this Complaint and Affidavit, known by me or told to me by other reliable persons form the basis for my
belief that the defendant committed this crime
State all facts and persons relied upon supporting elements of alleged crime
On September 22nd, 2024, at approximately 10:58 pm, a Farnhamville resident contacted the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office dispatch and reported her
daughter, Jane Doe as missing. The resident and her other daughter were out walking around looking for the missing Jane Doe.
While walking, the two female individuals came across Nathaniel BEVERS-MCGIVNEY in possession of Jane Doe's scooter that she was previously observed
on. BEVERS-MCGIVNEY was in possession of other personal effects belonging to Jane Doe. BEVERS-MCGIVNEY was covered in apparent blood. Law
enforcement questioned BEVERS-MCGIVNEY about the apparent blood on his clothing. BEVERS-MCGIVNEY requested to speak to a lawyer. BEVERS-
MCGIVNEY was detained and transported to the Carroll County Jail where he remained detained until further investigation was conducted.
A law enforcement search ensued. At approximately 9:12am on September 23rd, 2024 Jane Doe's deceased body was discovered. The location in which Jane
Doe's deceased body was discovered suggests that BEVERS-MCGIVNEY intentionally hid Jane Doe's deceased body to conceal a crime. Additionally,
BEVERS-MCGIVNEY failed to disclose the location of the corpse with the intent to conceal a crime.
