TASK1:

The graph shown illustrates the percentage of five iced North American lakes.
This is not the best paraphrase. It needs to be clearer. Overall, the
percentage showed a fluctuation of the amount of ice covered each of the
lakes over a period of 40 years devided into 2 bars with each bar representing
20 years of a time. ( Good intro 😊 and a good overview; however, you could
have added that the 1st 10 years witnessed a higher percentage of ice
coverage for example)

To start with, it is very clear that Ontario lake is the least one covered by ice
throughout both the two 20 years period followed by Michigan lake. Ontario
lake’s percentage of ice cover hardly became ( reached) more than 5 percent
( per cent) in both periods with a tiny amount. in(In) fact, that Michigan lake
was triple the amount with approximately 15 percent in the first period and
double the amount with a slight lower percentage than 10 in the second
period.

Nevertheless, for all the lakes, ice cover percentage rose up in the second
period with a slight difference between the 2 periods unless except for
Superior lake. The gap ( between both periods) was a bit higher than 10
percent of ice cover while it did not exceed more than 5 percent for the
others. ( This could have been the 1st feature after the overview)

Moreover, Erie lake clearly is the most that is covered by ice during the whole
period of time. It reached the highest point in the first period from 1973 to
1992 with a percentage of slightly higher than 25 percent while it was almost
30 percent in the period between 1992 and 2012. ( This could have been the
2nd)

Well done! That is a high B2, with a possibility of hitting C1!
