Job Description for Marketing Communication Role for TVS SCS Group

1. Responsible for organisation’s marketing & communication strategies at group level,


as well as overall branding & image thereby strengthen company’s global market
presence

2. Collaborate and work closely with regional marketing & communication teams to
implement various planned initiatives seamlessly

3. Develop a “Digital First”, cost effective market position that would enable the
organization to take on both well-funded new age start-ups and traditional
competitors

4. Ensuring effective implementation of group level marketing campaigns that meet


overall business objectives and drive leads through the same

5. Create overall web and social media strategy and enable use of social media as a
effective tool in brand positioning and external communication

6. Develops and implements the Company’s advertising, marketing, and


communications programs in order to build brand awareness and increase global
sales

7. Supports all internal/external communication initiatives and events to ensure clear


communications regarding a variety of matters

8. Media and Advertising


• Create and implement marketing/media plans that include print, online, social,
video, tradeshows, and social networking opportunities
• Conduct market research to identify effective promotional methods and negotiate
media contracts
• Investigate new media opportunities (print, events, online, advertorials), negotiate
rates, and book space
• Create, maintain and strengthen Company’s overall brand in all forms of media
(creative and technical writing, online, print, and academic).

9. Web and Social


• Strategize, develop and oversee production of video content for website and social
media.
• Consider new ways to further develop our corporate site in order to make it a selling
tool.
• Review web analytics and ad words campaigns on an ongoing basis and generate
monthly reports regarding site traffic.
10. Events
• Oversee the coordination and organization of all tradeshow arrangements

11. Case Studies


• Work with business teams globally to develop case studies, video collateral etc.
showcasing key success stories

Skills & Qualification


• Graduate in any specialization with MBA in Marketing preferred
• At least 12- 15 years of marketing experience preferably in services industry/B2B
with a minimum of 4-5 years in leadership role in reputed/global companies
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and track record of driving
successful digital campaigns
• Successful track record in senior marketing roles
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media
marketing
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
• Demonstrated experience in internet architecture, direct mail, print and electronic
advertising.
• Strong creativity and marketing skills. Ability to generate multiple and varied ideas
• Ability to prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects and competing work demands.
Ability to see the “big picture” while managing several small projects.
