Participate in and refining movement activities.
Design your own Obstacle course.
You must hand in the written task, that meets the following requirements:
 Cover page (Name and surname, grade, date and subject)
 Index page
 Contents (Introduction, type/name of obstacle, description of the obstacle,
illustration/images of the obstacle, assembly of obstacle course, and conclusion with a
reflection)
 Introduction (Type of obstacle course, why you have chosen this type of obstacle course,
type of obstacles that can be expected, what is the age group that would like to try the
obstacle course and difficulty level of the obstacle course.)
 Photos of the different type of obstacles that is used in the course, with notes describing
each obstacle. (This will show that you have personally completed the task. You need 10
photo's of the different obstacles that you have designed.)
 Reflection (2 paragraphs describing your personal experience while completing the task.
(Did you find it fun and easy to complete or did you experience difficulty in completing the
task etc).

Your obstacle course must meet the following requirements.


1) Your obstacle course must consist of at least 10 different obstacle stations/sections.
2) Each station must be a challenge for the movement of the body.
3) Your entire obstacle course must fit in a space of 12m x 12m.
4) There must be at least one climbing activity.
5) There must be at least one crawling activity.
6) You must make use of ropes.
7) Safety of learner as well as participants must be considered.
8) All components to be used must come from your housing environment. e.g
Obstacle 1: The swing of a hula hoop for 10 seconds.
Obstacle 2: Using a ladder to run over "fast feet".
Obstacle 3: To swing in a tree for 5 seconds.
Remember the task is to participate in and refine movement activities.
