Guidelines for the Orientation

1. Arrival Time: Participants are expected to arrive before the start of the program. A
heavy breakfast will be served upon arrival. Please ensure you are on time to make the
most of the session. No morning snacks will be served.
2. Bring Your Own Tumbler: Please bring your own tumbler or water bottle to refill
throughout the day.
3. Dress Code: Dress comfortably but appropriately for a professional setting.
4. Materials to Bring: Please bring a notebook, pen, and printed curriculum materials such
as the DICES REVISED CURRICULUM MAPS ver. 2024, DEPED MATATAG Curriculum
Guides, GRACE Learning Competencies, and any other materials that will help you
participate actively in the sessions.

5. Active Participation: We encourage active participation. Feel free to ask questions,


make clarifications, engage in discussions, and collaborate with your fellow Gurong
DICES and school administrators.
6. Strict Schedule: The program will follow a strict schedule. Please refer to the agenda
provided and be mindful of the times for each session.
7. Feedback: Your feedback is valuable. At the end of the orientation and writeshop, you
will be asked to fill out a feedback form. Please take a few minutes to share your
thoughts and suggestions.
8. Parking and Drop-off Protocol: We will follow the drop and leave protocol for our
vehicles. Please advise your school drivers that parking will be at the SAS-SHS Campus.
