Each year the yearbook cover is decided through a competition for the front and back cover design. This year the theme is Friendship and Cooperation. The design in the past few years has been based on drawings, but we are aiming for a photo or photographic collection this time. For all the details students can visit the Middle School Media Center blog and all Home Base teachers will receive a flyer to display on their classroom notice board.

Congratulations to the musical performances of the Grade Five and Six students! Last Tuesday night, music from the bands, choirs, and orchestras were of epic proportions, hearing singing of the jazz classics, the bands playing music by Bruno Mars, and the orchestras beautiful sonorous melodies. We are looking forward to your next concert in May! A special thank you to the Fine Arts Office and the Music Department for making this night such a success!
Thursday, December 1st - World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is now established as one of the most widely recognised international health days. Its a great opportunity to raise further awareness in communities across the world about the state of the pandemic and the critical next steps that must be taken to halt its spread. To commemorate this event, Grade 8 Wellness students are hoping to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS. They will put up posters and place envelopes with ribbons and information slips around the school. Please take time to read their posters and show your support for this event by wearing a ribbon. Spread the news not the virus. Thank You. Valerie Birchenall Wellness Department Program Leader
