Stage 1.
Presentation and primary assimilation
Aim: to present new vocabulary in context and to provide its primary assimilation.
"Clothes"
The lesson begins with a warming up activity. The teacher asks "What do you
like to wear?" For example: I like to wear dresses. Then the teacher introduces new
words on the topic "Clothes" to the students by showing them different items of
clothes using pictures. In the process, the teacher asks the children questions and also
answers, showing the children the correct understanding of the word and question.
After the
vocabulary is
introduced, children
can be asked to write
sentences with the new
words. Next comes the
presentation of phrasal
verbs. The teacher also
uses different pictures
for showing what does
it mean. Children

and try to make their
own sentences.

Then the children are divided into two groups. The teacher gives them a puzzle
and they need to put together an item of clothing. The team that managed the fastest
won.
The next task is for the children to divide the clothes according to the season.
