The Job on Offer Capgemini Global Insights & Data business line is a market leader in the data,
platform, and analytics across all regions and cross many sectors (including financial
services, consumer products, manufacturing & life sciences). Our offerings include
end-2-end data integration to cloud platform, complete suite of AI engineering
capabilities and a category of sector-based advanced analytics / AI solutions.
Capgemini global Insights & Data business line requires an experienced Data Analyst
with Technical skills in the areas of business intelligence, cloud, data warehousing,
reporting and analytics.
Some assignments are concerned with the architecture and design of solutions e.g.,
data warehouse and data migration projects, which require data integration
experience. The Data Architect needs to be able to have an end-to-end vision, and to
see how a logical design will translate into one or more physical Databases, and how
the Data will flow through the successive Stages involved. As a senior member of a
project team, he / she will need to be able to address issues of Data Migration
(Validation, Clean-up, and Mapping), data modelling and will need to understand
the importance of process and data Governance including the development and
maintenance of Data Dictionaries.
Finally, you must be able to work closely with our clients and demonstrate individual
functional and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and
deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. As a member of a
project team, you will need to support management to identify, develop, and
implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies,
mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies.
Your Role The range of activities that you will get involved with is extensive and includes:
• Building complex efficient SQL queries to detect anomalies in data & root
cause analysis.
• Data solution design, showing end to end how the business objectives are
delivered using a data solution.
• Designing reporting and analytics delivery tools that support and deliver
against business objectives.

• Lead or participate in data architecture and design, covering conceptual,
logical and physical data model design, ETL data flow design, data capture
and transformation rules and processes.
• Leverage reporting/data presentation/exploration tools (covering reporting
and charting, data quality, enterprise performance management, and
analytics)
• Share knowledge of project and software delivery methodologies and ability
to articulate the pros and cons of each in relation to the other, especially in
relation to agile and more traditional waterfall approaches.
• Potentially lead small data analytics projects.
