1. THE EXISTING SERVICES SHOWN ARE INDICATIVE ONLY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING, VERIFYING & PROTECTING ALL EXISTING UNDERGROUND & 8. ALL PUBLIC STORMWATER PIPES SHALL BE RCRRJ CLASS UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
ABOVE GROUND SERVICES & OTHER FEATURES FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORKS. NOTIFY 9. ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE WASTEWATER PIPES SHALL BE MIN. IN 150mmØ uPVC SN16 PIPES
THE ENGINEER IMMEDIATELY SHOULD ANY DISCREPANCIES BE FOUND. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
2. ALL WORK SHALL BE UNDERTAKEN IN ACCORDANCE WITH AUCKLAND COUNCIL 10. ALL STORMWATER LOT CONNECTIONS SHALL BE 300mmØ UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING THE LATEST EDITIONS OF CODES OF PRACTICE AND RELEVANT 8. ALL WASTEWATER LOT CONNECTIONS SHALL BE 150mmØ UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
ENGINEERING STANDARDS; THE PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS; ANY RESOURCE CONSENT
CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE SITE; AND OTHER RELEVANT REQUIREMENTS. 9. THE MINIMUM CLEARANCE BETWEEN STORMWATER AND WASTEWATER DRAINAGE LINES AND
OTHER SERVICES SHALL BE 150mm.
3. IF DURING SETTING OUT OF THE WORKS A DISCREPANCY IS FOUND, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
NOTIFY THE ENGINEER AS SOON AS IT BECOMES AWARE OF THE DISCREPANCY AND PRIOR 10. ALL STANDARD MANHOLES ARE 1050mmØ AND TO BE HEAVY DUTY WITH HEAVY DUTY LIDS
TO PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK. FAILURE IN DOING SO MAY RESULT IN THE CONTRACTOR UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE.
UNDERTAKING ANY REMEDIAL WORKS AT ITS OWN COST.
4. THE WORKS SHALL BE UNDERTAKEN IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL OTHER RELEVANT DESIGN WATER SUPPLY AND SERVICES:
WORKS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING, LANDSCAPE 1. WATER SUPPLY SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AUCKLAND CODE OF PRACTICE FOR
ARCHITECTURE, TRAFFIC ENGINEERING, URBAN DESIGN AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING. LAND DEVELOPMENT AND SUBDIVISION, CHAPTER 6, VERSION 2.4, JUNE 2021. MATERIALS
LIAISE WITH THESE DESIGN CONSULTANTS THROUGHOUT THE WORKS AS REQUIRED. USED SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WATERCARE MATERIAL SUPPLY STANDARD,
VERSION 1.11, JULY 2021.
5. THE WORK SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH RELEVANT HOURS OF WORK
AND NOISE LIMITS AS SET OUT IN THE DISTRICT PLAN, CONSENT CONDITIONS, WHICHEVER IS 2. ALL WORK ON EXISTING PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY NETWORKS SHALL BE CARRIED OUT BY
THE MORE CONSERVATIVE. AUCKLAND COUNCIL AND WATERCARE APPROVED CONTRACTORS ONLY.
6. ALL COMMUNICATIONS AND POWER SERVICES ARE TO BE DISCONNECTED AND/OR INSTALLED 3. MINIMUM COVER TO WATER SUPPLY SERVICES SHALL BE 900mm UNDER THE CARRIAGEWAY,
BY APPROVED UTILITY SERVICES CONTRACTORS / TRADESPEOPLE. VEHICLE CROSSINGS, FOOTPATHS, PARKING AND ACCESSWAYS AND TRECHES SHALL BE
BACKFILLED WITH GAP20 AGGREGATE.
7. ANY EXCAVATION AND REINSTATEMENT OF TRENCHES WITHIN PUBLIC LAND SHALL BE
UNDERTAKEN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF AUCKLAND COUNCIL CODE OF 4. ALL WATERMAINS SHALL BE 115mm OD (100mm ID) PE100 SDR13.6 AND 63mm OD (50mm ID)
PRACTICE FOR EXCAVATION AND REINSTATEMENT OF TRENCHES. PE80B SDR11 SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
5. ELECTROFUSION WELDING SHALL BE 39.5 VOLT SYSTEM AND SHALL COMPLY WITH
WIS-4-32-06-1989. ALL WELDING SHALL BE STAMPED WITH WELDER'S CERTIFICATION.
RETAINING WALLS:
6. PROVIDE LOW GRADE CONCRETE ANCHOR BLOCKS AT ALL WATERMAIN TEES JUNCTIONS,
ALL RETAINING WALLS ARE DESIGNED BY GEOTECHNIAL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER AND
END CAPS AND BENDS.
APPROPRIATE BUILDING CONSENT WILL BE OBTAINED FOR THE WORK.
7. SUPPLY AND INSTALL DENSO TAPE AT ALL ANCHORING POINTS AND WARNING TAPE OVER ALL
WATERMAINS.\
ROADING:
1. ACCESSWAY, YARD AND TRUCK TURNING AREA STRUCTURAL PAVEMENT DESIGN IS 8. ALL INTERNAL FIRE SUPPLY DESIGNED BY UNIFIRE LTD.
PROVIDED BY MSC CONSULTING ENGINEERS. THE FOLLOWING IS THE PAVEMENT 9. ALL INTERNAL SERVICES DESIGNED BY PCS LTD.
SPECIFICATION:
MINIMUM 150mm THICK UNRESTRAINED COMBI-SLAB (35MPa) WITH 20Kg/m³ DRAMIX 4D 65/60BG
STEEL FIBRE PLUS 1 LAYER OF 661 MESH ON 2 LAYERS DPM 10mm PAP7 BLINDING ON 200mm
GAP65 COMPACTED BASE COURSE.
- MIN. SUBGRADE CBR = 6%
- MAX. CRACK WIDTH AT SURFACE 0.25mm
- 16 TONNE AXLE LOADS - ASSUMED 4 PNEUMATIC TYRES MINIMUM OF 350/1300/350mm APART
- LTSA COMPLIANT CAPACITY LOADED "B-DOUBLE" TRUCK
- SINGLE HEIGHT CONTAINERS FULLY LOADED (32 TONNE) SPACED AT MINIMUM 500mm
BETWEEN CONTAINERS
- REINFORCED GALVENISED ARMOURED MOVEMENT JOINTS (CANZAC MONOPOUR OR
SIMILAR) SPACED AT 30m CRS WITH GALVENISED DIAMOND DOWELS AT 450mm CRS.
2. CARPARK FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT DESIGN IS SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION OF SUBGRADE CBR BY
CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF PAVEMENT LAYERS. TEST RESULTS MUST BE
PROVIDED TO ENGINEER FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL PROOF ROLL THE SUBGRADE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ENGINEER TO IDENTIFY ANY
SOFT SPOTS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF PAVEMENT LAYERS. THE SUBGRADE IS NOT TO BE
LEFT EXPOSED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME AND IS TO BE SHAPED TO AVOID WATER
POOLING ON THE SURFACE.
3. ALL VEHICLE CROSSINGS DIMENSION AND CONSTRUCTED STANDARD SHALL BE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH AUCKLAND TRANSPORT STANDARD COMMECIAL VEHICLE CROSSING
DRAWING NUMBER VX0202 OR VX0203 REVISION A (11 APR 2022).

DRAINAGE:
1. STORMWATER SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AUCKLAND CODE OF PRACTICE FOR
LAND DEVELOPMENT AND SUBDIVISION, CHAPTER 4, VERSION 3.0, JANUARY 2022.
2. WASTEWATER SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AUCKLAND CODE OF PRACTICE FOR
LAND DEVELOPMENT AND SUBDIVISION, CHAPTER 5, VERSION 2.2, NOVEMBER 2019.
MATERIALS USED SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WATERCARE MATERIAL SUPPLY
STANDARD, VERSION 1.11, JULY 2021.
3. ALL WORK ON EXISTING PUBLIC STORMWATER AND WASTEWATER NETWORKS SHALL BE
CARRIED OUT BY AUCKLAND COUNCIL AND WATERCARE APPROVED CONTRACTORS ONLY.
4. ALL DRAINAGE PIPEWORK SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED BY WAY OF OPEN TRENCH INSTALLATION
UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. THE MINIMUM COVER TO PIPES SHALL BE 900mm IN
CARRIAGEWAYS, FOOTPATHS, CROSSINGS, PARKING AND ACCESSWAY AND TRENCHES
BACKFILLED WITH GAP20 AGGREGATE.
5. ALL PRIVATE STORMWATER PIPES GREATER THAN 300mmØ SHALL BE RCRRJ CLASS 4 UNLESS
NOTED OTHERWISE. STORMWATER PIPES 300mmØ AND SMALLER SHALL BE uPVC SN16.
6. ALL PRIVATE STORMWATER PIPES INCLUDING CATCHPIT LEADS ARE 225mmØ UNLESS
