Ransformer and power supply, on, off, transformer grounding and other
functions. The switch rotates 90° for each operation to switch a position, and the
three positions of clock 12, 3 and 6 can be operated in advance and reverse, and
the 270° azimuth rotation. The position of the clock at 9 time uses the outer limit
pin of the box shell to limit the operation.
2, Please take off the handle, the pyramid-shaped spring, the limiting panel, and
the fastening bushes’ nuts from the load switch. Then let the switch, the fastening
bush and the sealing ring go through the ready-made hole dia Φ34 in the transformer
case, fasten the switch on the transformer’s case where the pre-welded nuts are
available, with 4pcs nuts M10 x20, also with the spring washer. Then tighten the
fasten ing bushes’ nuts.
Please Note: When tightening the M10 bolts, if you find the position hole is not
identical or not accurate and can not put in the bolt, make sure to fix or correct
the hole before you go on installing. Other wise, the further installing effort will
cause deformation of the installation panel and it will possibly result in an
operation accident of the load switch.
Installation procedure:
1) Put the fixed-sleeve(2) through the prepared hole Φ34 on
transformer housing, and screw down the M33X2
screw nut (3) as well as seal ring so that internal leakage
of transformer can be avoided, you may see Fig 3
for details, and refer to Table 2 for the tightening torque.
2) Then put the load switch through the fixed-sleeve, use
4~M10X20 bolts with spring washer to fasten the load
switchonto the transformer housing, you may refer to
Fig 4 for details.
NOTICE: if found that the relative position of bolt hole deviates
heavily when screw down the M10 bolts, you must amend the hole
and then screw down it again. Otherwise, this will cause distortion
to mounting plate, and may bring about malfunction to load switch.
3)After install the rotate handle (4)of switch, check if
the open and close positions are consistent with the
pointing direction on handle, then regulate the
pressure of M23X1.5 compression washer (5) to
seal ring (6), the force moment can be found in table 2.
4) When connect the load switch, the fastening bolts
of busbar must be screw down completely so that
a good contact can be kept; in addition, the length
of busbar should be selected properly in case
over short busbar will pull the connecting block Fig 4
of fixed-contact to one side, Otherwise may cause the operation of the switch
failure.
5) After installation and connection, it is suggested to carry out “open” and
“close” operation to check if the switch can be moved flexibly and if the position
indication is correct, if any abnormal, please check the installation of switch and
the connection of busbar according to article 2 and 4.
1) This load switch can be used to open or close rated current only, while the
application for closing and opening the failure current. If over rated current,
forbidden to operate switch.
2) Only the special insulated operating arm can be used to operate this load
switch to ensure personal safety.
3) For ever operation, whenever the load switch is turned to a new position, the
limiting panel must be adjusted first. i.e. use the dedicated operation lever instead of
the combined one to fix or hook the limiting panel and take it away from its original
fixing pin, turn for 90 degrees and then put it into the next fixing pin.
4) Use the operation lever to hook or fix the handle of load switch, turn for 135 degree
or so, then the spring’s energy reserving mechanism functions and the switches’
function position is changed to a new one. Hence, the handle will automatically return
to the 90 degree position. The switch can turn by 270 degree in this way in circulation,
either clockwise or anti clockwise.
