To work as a pharmacist in Australia, you need to apply for and be registered with the Pharmacy Board
of Australia. You may also need to apply for a visa issued by the Australian Government Department of

These two application processes are entirely separate and success in one does not automatically
guarantee success in the other.
There are two streams (pathways) for overseas students, Stream A is for applicants from Pakistan, India,
and other asian countries while Stream B is for USA, UK, Canada, and Ireland.
There are 4 steps for becoming registered pharmacist in Australia for International students.

to complete your eligibility check if all the provided documents are correct otherwise it may take longer
time. Send them more information if they ask, you will have 90 days for this, after 90 days you will need
to re-apply and pay the fee again.

There are four steps for overseas pharmacist to get themselves registered in UK.
As part of the Applying for eligibility to complete an Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme
(OSPAP) form, they will ask you to choose the universities where you would like to complete your
OSPAP. A list of universities that offer OSPAP courses is given below Aston University (Birmingham)
• Kingston University
• University of Brighton
• University of Sunderland
• University of Hertfordshire
https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/education/approved-providers-education-and-
training/accredited-ospap-courses
Depending on your knowledge and previous experience, you may be exempt from some taught
elements, but you will have to complete all the assessments.
If you complete the OSPAP course successfully, this will demonstrate that you have met the UK MPharm
graduate criteria, but it will not give you a MPharm (Master of Pharmacy) degree qualification.
