Ok class I believe that you still remember what was our

What was our last topic all about?

Ma’am yesterday we talked about how to

distinguish fact from opinion in a narrative.
Very good, you’ve learned that aside from developing
your skills in making inferences and drawing
conclusions, it is also important that you can distinguish
fact from opinion.

Now, can you please share what was the difference

between facts and opinions? A fact is a statement that is based on information
(Encouraging Learners to ask question/ or details that can be proven. While an opinion is
allowing learners’ active participation) an expression that is based on a person’s
personal feelings, emotions and perceptions.

Very well said, can you give an example of a fact?

There are seven days in a week.

Good, another one.

The Earth orbits around the sun.

How about opinion? Can you give examples?
