(S.Y. 2022-2023)

I-Introduction

EsP or Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao is very significant to the students as one of the

(8) eight subjects in the secondary level particularly in the Junior High School. Before, this
was called as Values Education but the content is just similar because it is more on virtues
of an individual, moral and spiritual values, the importance of a good family relationship,
unity and cooperation to others and our community or pakikipagkapwa, friendship and
adolescence relationship towards opposite sex in which proper guidance of the parents are
the most concern. Above all our good relationship with God or our Lord is also essential
because without him, we have no direction and proper guidance and we are useless in this
world.
The reason that the children most of the time do follow the rules of their society,
act fairly, treat friends kindly, tell the truth and respect their elders. All children are born
with a running start on the path to moral development. them to act in ethical ways. So the
kind of family and upbringing are also considered their kind of individuality. For most
children, kind
of individuality. For most children, parents are the original source of moral guidance. Proper
parenting facilitates children's moral growth more surely than any other source of
discipline. Incourage them also to have open discussion and clear communication to
maintain closeness in the family and once they go out in the society they are not already
problematic.

An incredible complex arise of influences, unbelievable but it is now in reality

including families, acquaintances, mass media, and society as a whole, help determine the
moral development of children. We have heard news reports tell us how dangerous our
youngs and teen-agers on their schools and communities: attacking teachers, classmates
and friends murdering parents and persecuting others easily. We hear about gangs of
children running drugs or numbers, teenage date rape, teenage fragnancy, pre-marital sex,
vandalism, about epidemics of cheating in the school, and most of them are not already
serious on their studies.

EsP subject has something to do with this including the teachers as the second
parents in the school to minimize the bad attitude and character of the students. As stated
in the bible in the book of James or Santiago that in the last days, children or even people
are hard headed, they don’t listen what is right, and what is wrong, they are selfish, they
are not respectful, they love to do bad things, they are worldly and feel happy when they
do or commit mistakes.Even some professionals, they already achieve high in their career
but lack of moral values in their life. Its not too late to educate and teach them with the
help of the parents our mentors all personnel of Dep.Ed. We must work hand in hand to
mould our students and youngs in a right way. I know that the Lord will grant all our
longings and yearnings, there is nothing impossible as long as we are sincere and willing to
do our commitment as public servant. That’s why celebrating the Filipino Values month is a
big help to awaken and activate the stagnant values and virtues of an individual that needs
to be shaken and reactivated to help one another.
ESP NARRATIVE REPORT

Narrative report is very important to make the event or program

a very meaningful and more comprehensive. First week of November was
the virtual meeting of all District ESP coordinators as well as the Secondary
EsP Coordinators of the Division of Agusan del Sur. I was one of them. This
was regarding the plan and activities of Filipino Values Month Celebration.
Since our Reading Festival coordinator has a scheduled meeting on that
day with all the class advisers so I also join them. We decided and agreed
upon each other to join our activity to minimized and conserve energy
time and effort.
Last November 23, 2022, was the schedule of our Filipino Values
Month Celebration and combined with the Reading Festival. The contest
were as follows; for the Reading Festival (declamation, jazz chants, story
reading, spelling bee and winner takes all for those who have no events.
For the ESP contests are; (Memory verse, Vocal Solo Christian Song and
Bible Choral Reading). It was a whole day activity. After the contest was
the awarding, and the students were very happy after knowing the result
especially the winners.
Since we lacked financial, we were not able to give money as a
reward to the winners but we give only a photopaper certificate. The
program was successfully done, we are so happy that the teachers and
students were very participative, they were trying their best to make the
activity a meaningful one. Regarding the different committees, all of them
were functions and performing their tasks without depending with each other.
Inother words all for one and one for all for the success of everybody.
