Discuss in your own words the significant characteristics and behaviors
of a facilitative teacher.

Characteristics and Behaviors of Facilitative What I know . . .

Teachers

In order to feel comfortable working

with even the most difficult students,
Attentive Teaching teaches teachers
how to recognize the symptoms of
trauma and how to self-adjusting first.
Moreover, if the teacher is attentive,
the students were motivated to
participate in the class and reported
feeling well.

In order to know how they can help

their students advance, teachers must
have the necessary skills and genuine
compassion for the students. The
teacher also needs to pay attention in
class to identify and address the
concerns of the students.

Truly good and inspiring teachers will

leave a mark on their students long
after they have left the classroom.
Also, teachers must be understanding
to their students because it can help
students feel connected and at home
at school, which helps lay the
groundwork for academic success.
To motivate students, teachers must
have a positive attitude. They must
understand how to treat each student
with respect and tolerance for their
strong personalities.
In order for the students to learn and
be able to interact with the subjects,
the teacher must be sufficiently
knowledgeable about the subject
matter. A knowledgeable teacher
should have the skills in managing
instruction, classroom environment,
time and discipline in order to impart
knowledge and skills to the students.

5. Teachers’ Characteristic: KNOWLEDGEABLE The instructor may be skilled with

various teaching aids and
understand the appropriate tools to
use for the students' education. For
the purpose of evaluating and
assessing the students' learning
capacities, the teachers must be
adaptable enough to develop teaching
and learning tools for the students.

Communication skills are

important for the students as well
as the teacher. Because it involves
interaction with the class. And to
be able to pass on knowledge, skills
and values so students can apply
them in real life or to the social
situations. It also allows them to
be independent and capable of
communication without the
teachers guidance.
